The Sanlúcar Horse Races take place on the beach during the month of August and is one of the oldest equestrian races in Europe. A unique event.

In 2022, horse racing will be held in two cycles during the month of August:
- The first cycle: on 9, 10 and 11 August.
- And the second cycle: on 23, 24 and 25 August.
The races will always take place at dusk, taking advantage of the ample space left by the low tide on the beach. Each of these afternoons 4 or 5 races are held, which correspond to their respective prizes.
