Saturday 29th October

  • 08:00 h: Launching of rockets announcing the beginning of the Virgen de Fátima Chestnut Festival 2022.
  • 09:00 h: Parade by the charanga "Llena que nos vamos".
  • 10:00 h: Opening of the Chestnut Museum
  • 12:00 h: Presentation of events by Modesto Barragán Ríos
  • 12:30 h: Opening speech by Francisco Calvente Sibajas accompanied by Miguel Ángel Salas on the piano.
  • 14:00 h: Presentation of the "Chestnut of the Year" award to María Gámez Gámez, Director General of the Civil Guard and Rosario Mena Mateos, businesswoman from Pujerra.
  • 15:00 h: Daytime fair enlivened by the "Trío Rompeolas" - "Grupo Lerele".
  • 16:00 h: Traditional "Tostón de Castañas" (chestnut roast) accompanied by anisette and mistela (sweet wine).
  • 17:00 h: Delicatessen tasting of products made with chestnuts in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
  • 00:00 h: Night fair enlivened by the orchestra "Crucero".

Sunday 30 October

  • 08:00 h: Launching of rockets announcing the beginning of the Virgen de Fátima Chestnut Festival 2022.
  • 09:30 h: Parade with the performance of the Panda de Verdiales de Parauta.
  • 11:00 h: Holy Mass in honour of the Virgen de Fátima, patron saint of Pujerra.
  • 12:30 h: Procession accompanied by the Pujerra Band.
  • 15:00 h: Daytime Fair enlivened by "Trío Rompeolas" and "Orquesta Latidos".
  • 16:00 h: Traditional chestnut roast accompanied by anisette and mistela (sweet wine).
  • 17:00 h: Chocolatada, churros and end of the festival.
