The Moors and Christians festival in Ibi is held in honour of the Virgen de los Desamparados and consists of the representation of the confrontation between the Moorish troops and the Christians.

• Next, La Unión Musical de Ibi will begin the traditional parade through various streets of the town. It will be followed by the music bands of the comparsas to go to the corresponding souks.
• 24:00 NIT DE L'OLLETA, after dinner in the souks, the troupes will parade along the usual route, ending at 02:30.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

PASSAGE DAY

• 07:45 Concentration of all the Comparsas and music bands at the foot of the Castle, to start the Diana.
• 08:00 PARTY DIANA. Departure from the foot of the Castle. After the recitation of Ave Maria and the general tolling of the bells, a parade of all the comparsas to the sound of pasodobles dianeros in the same order as the Entrance.
• All the comparsas will attend this act with a squad composed of at least ten festeros and the corporal and a maximum of fourteen and the corporal, fully uniformed and with weapons.
• 10:45 a.m. Concentration of the Christian side, with the troupes on Calle Murillo and the pageantry and floats on the Bañeres road.

Maximum punctuality is required, since the Festival Committee Boato will begin at 10:45 am, so that the Captaincy can start on time.

• 16:45 Concentration of the Moorish Band, with the troupes on Calle Murillo and the pageantry and floats on the Bañeres road.

Maximum punctuality is required since the Festival Committee Boato will begin at 5:00 p.m., so that the Captaincy can start promptly at 5:15 p.m.

IMPORTANT:

Only those squads composed of at least 10 festeros and the corporal and a maximum of 14 festeros and the corporal may participate in the Tickets. The festeros will not be able to access the beginning of the tickets for the route, nor circulate along it, if they are not duly accredited.

FIRST DAY OF TRONS

• 09:45 Concentration of all the Comparsas, Captains and Flag Bearers in the Plaça de les Corts to go to the Parish of the Transfiguration of the Lord and attend the Mass of the Fester. They will parade to the Church, placing the Christian Comparsas on the right and the Moors on the left.
• 10:00 MASS OF THE FESTER. With the participation of the Castell Vermell d'Ibi Music Workshop. The salutes of honor at the Elevation of the Blessed Sacrament will be performed by the comparsa of Almogávares.
• 11:30 CHILD ENTRANCE
• At the end: ENTRY OF CONTRABAND by the companies gangs of smugglers and maseros.
• Next, the troupes of the Captaincy, Authorities, Captains, Flag Bearers and as many festeros as they wish, will go to the “San Joaquín” Nursing Home in compliance with the traditional visit.
