For just over two weeks, the Carnival of Ecija goes from the theater to the streets, neighborhoods, schools and bars where everyone dresses up to celebrate one of the most fun parties of the year.

CHILDREN'S GROUPS COMPETITION Children's Proclamation: by Carmen Arribas Corrales, student of SAFA ÉCIJA. Presenter: Daniel Pastrana. PERFORMANCE OF THE 6 CHILDREN'S GROUPS The bluebirds do not come from the Caribbean but from the SAFA roundabout (Sagrada Familia Professional Schools). Wednesday and the ash (romance) Peña Carnavalera La Almazara. For a handful of muffins from Blas Infante.

starting at 9:00 p.m. Carnival proclamation: By Paco Pepe Rivero. Presenter: Daniel Pastrana. Prior to the proclamation there will be a parade,

around 7:15 p.m., leaving from the playground. Parade route: Miguel de Cervantes, Plaza de España, San Juan and arrival at the Theater through the door on Najeras Street. The Crier will open the parade with his entourage of 40 children. It will be enlivened with music (snare and bass drum). Once they arrive at the theater, the proclamation and the staging of the 40 children will take place. (There are no entrance fees, they will be posted in Giglon but as invitations).

Saturday, February 10 (afternoon). At 5:00 p.m., adult chirigotas. The end of the party will be with a tent in the Open Leisure Space (botellódromo) and another “non-alcoholic” tent in the Alcarrachela (fair attractions area).

Sunday, February 11, starting at 12:00 p.m. GREAT CARNIVAL PARADE Departure from Plaza de Colón, Carreras, El Conde, Plaza de España, Miguel de Cervantes, and ends at the Children's Park, where rice will be offered at popular prices. Parade with the criers and a brass band, the children's groups (4 chirigotas, quartet and romancero) and behind all the children's couples.
