The Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is one of the oldest and most renowned festivals, the streets are dressed up for the party, with lots of colour, music and joy in every corner.

In Agaete (Gran Canaria) we have a very cheerful, lively and colorful festival that is celebrated every August 4th, in honor of the Virgin of Las Nieves. It is the Fiesta de la Rama.

The Fiestas Patronales de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, in Agüimes, last for more than two weeks, during which time various traditional and religious activities take place.

The Suelta del Perro Maldito (Release of the Cursed Dog) kicks off the festivities in honour of the patron saint of San Miguel Arcángel, where many take to the streets representing evil creatures and the town gives itself over to the shadows.

The Noche del Pureta, the Pub Miguelito, the Feria de Ganado or the Romería Ofrenda, the Guateque de los Años de 60 or the Latinazo are some of the events that take place in these festivities that are held every year in September.
