Program of Pilgrimage of San Isidro in Alboloduy
Year 2023
A festival in honour of the patron saint of farmers, in which the locals dress up in the typical costume of Alboloduy on tractors decorated with typical products of the land. After the pilgrimage, enjoy the traditional burning of the fox, a structure full of pyrotechnics.

More information:
It is a pilgrimage in honour of San Isidro in which more than 40 floats (tractors where the trailers are decorated) take part and the villagers are dressed in the typical costume of Alboloduy and on tractors and dumpers decorated with typical products of the land that give a unique colour to the landscape, the parade will go through the village and part of the river. After the pilgrimage, the traditional burning of the fox will take place, a metal structure on which strings of rockets are hooked, with which the young people chase the villagers to burn them.
This structure, in the shape of a fox with a bunch of grapes in its mouth, is filled with fireworks and a large concentration of rateros, which ends in a huge explosion. The most daring youngsters climb up the fox to get their trophy, the part that is left whole, which is almost always the tail or the head.
The festival in honour of the patron saint of farmers, as Alboloduy has traditionally made its living from agriculture, ends with a verbena.
During the pilgrimage, all those who visit us will be able to taste the different wines and food that the locals carry on their floats.
