FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3

  • 8:00 p.m. Coronation ceremonies of the Queens of Carnival 2023 and their court of honor, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4

  • 8:00 p.m. Opening show of Carnival 2023, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5

  • 12:00 p.m. Proclamation of Carnival 2023 by RAFAEL RODRÍGUEZ REDONDO "FAE", organized by the Peña los Espaciales. In the Municipal Theater "Horacio Noguera".
  • 2:00 p.m. Pitisco Carnavalero, in the Plaza Jardines de Andalucía.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 AND 7

  • 7:00 p.m. CHILD AND YOUTH GROUP contest, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

  • 8:00 p.m. Sunday 7:00 p.m. Preliminary of the LV CONTEST OF MURGAS, COMPARSAS, QUARTETS AND CHOIRS, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

  • 10:00 a.m. QUARTERFINAL OF THE LV CONTEST OF MURGAS, COMPARSAS, QUARTETS AND CHOIRS, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15

  • 8:00 p.m. "Pito de Caña" JOSÉ COLUMÉ REYES, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16 AND 17

  • 8:00 p.m. SEMI-FINAL OF THE LV CONTEST OF MURGAS, COMPARSAS, QUARTETS AND CHOIRS, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.
  • 4:30 p.m. CHILDREN'S CABALGATA, concentration in Avda. Parque with Roque Barcia, Calle España and Gran Vía Román Pérez where a children's party will take place in the Municipal Booth.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18

  • 6:00 p.m. GRAND FINAL OF THE LV CONTEST OF MURGAS, COMPARSA, QUARTETS AND CHOIRS, at the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.
  • At the end, delivery of the "PITO DE CAÑA" to D. JOSÉ COLUMÉ REYES, concluding with the CARNIVAL ANTHEM AND STARTING THE STREET CARNIVAL.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19

  • 4:00 p.m. GREAT CARNIVAL CABALGATE, Artistic Floats and Costume Ensemble, concentration on Carnival Avenue, (Municipal Sports Center), Arquitecto Aramburu Maqua Avenue, Islamar Street, Federico Silva Muñoz Avenue and Gran Vía where there will be a festival at the Municipal Booth.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20

  • 5:00 p.m. contest AND COSTUME PARADE from Paseo de las Palmeras, Paseo del Chocolate, Paseo de los Reyes, C/ del Carmen and Gran Vía, accompanied by a Charanga.
  • 8:00 p.m. Verbena, in the Municipal Booth in Gran Vía.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21

  • 5:00 p.m. contest AND COSTUME PARADE from Paseo de las Palmeras, Paseo del Chocolate, Paseo de los Reyes, C/ del Carmen and Gran Vía, accompanied by a Charanga.
  • 8:00 p.m. Verbena, in the Municipal Booth in Gran Vía.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22

  • 10:00 a.m. THE SARDINE FUNERAL COURSE, organized by the Ash Wednesday Association, through the streets of the city. (Municipal reception at 11:00 a.m. in the Town Hall).
  • 7:30 p.m. TRADITIONAL BURIAL OF THE SARDINE and its typical costumes of happy widows accompanied by a Charanga. Departure from Calle Roque Barcia, Paseo de las Palmeras, Paseo del Chocolate, Paseo de Los Reyes, Calle Manuel Siurot, Calle General Mola, Calle Armada Española, Gran Vía Román Pérez Romeu, Avda. Federico Silva Muñoz to the roundabout of Punta del Cayman, where the "Sardine" will be burned and a Fireworks Display.
  • 10:00 p.m. Verbena at the main door of the "Horacio Noguera" Municipal Theater.

  • 1:00 p.m. DELIVERY OF CARNIVAL 2023 INSTITUTIONAL AWARDS, at the Municipal Booth in Gran Vía.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26

  • 12:00 p.m. Piñatas Sunday, in the downtown area.
