The Fiesta de la Rosa del Azafrán (Saffron Rose Festival) is held on the last weekend of October. It is a tradition in Consuegra (Toledo) to showcase the traditions of La Mancha culture.

From October 20 to 29, we invite you to learn about our traditions, customs, gastronomy and, ultimately, our way of life.

Saturday October 21

7:00 p.m. CONCENTRATION OF DULCINEA AND AUTHORITIES, at the City Hall

The procession then parades to the Don Quijote Theater in Consuegra.

7:30 p.m. ACT OF PROCLAMATION OF DULCINEA 2023/2024, Doña Noelia Palomino Gallego de Lerma. PREGION AND ACT OF MANCHEGA EXALTATION by Doña Silvia Vacas

Next, a performance by the Traditional Dance Schools and the children's group of Choirs and Dances "Rosa del Azafrán" from Consuegra.

Discovering Consuegra is taking a trip to the land of Don Quixote, the saffron fields, its La Mancha windmills, the castle of the Order of San Juan and the Plaza de España, with its archeology museum will make you discover the history and traditions from this place in La Mancha.
