Representation of the Historical Facts of May 2 through traditional scenes.

The School of Volunteer Actors of Móstoles will bring us closer to the morning of May 1, 1808 through scenes that reflect how the people of Mostoleñas lived.

6:00 p.m. 41st FLOAT CONTEST

With the participation of groups from Móstoles accompanied by the Youth Band and a group of Majorettes from Móstoles.

Next:
· Walking tour of the Municipal Corporation from the Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción Parish, accompanied by Historical Reenactment groups and the Móstoles Municipal Youth Band, to the house where the mayor Andrés Torrejón lived and died.
· Imposition of a Laurel Wreath in the House of Andrés Torrejón.
· Imposition of a Laurel Wreath on the monument dedicated to the mayor Simón Hernández.
· Discovery of the Peña Barbacana Plate. In recognition of the health workers who, with their dedication and professionalism, took care of the people of Mostola during the Covid-19 pandemic. It will be placed on the side of the Bartolomé González Health Center by the Mayoress and the Committee of Authorities.

Tasting of muscatel and typical local buns, offered by the Peña Barbacana, while stocks last.

Crown imposition on the monument to Mayor Andrés Torrejón.

Delivery of the Mostoleños Awards 2022

Performances and interventions by: Villa de Móstoles Choir, City of Móstoles Dance School, May 2 Cultural Historical Association and War Disasters, Regional Houses, Immigrants Association, Municipal Police, Civil Protection and representatives of the city's social fabric .

Representation of Historical Facts.

Recreation of the events that took place on May 2, 1808 through its protagonists, the town of Móstoles and historical figures such as its mayors, Andrés Torrejón and Simón Hernández. A song to freedom and a tribute to all those who lost their lives and to the relatives who suffered their loss.
