Programme of cultural, leisure and sports activities during the summer in the town of Guadalupe (Cáceres).

The traditional Bullfighting Festivities in August, which return after 2 years without being held due to the pandemic suffered by the covid. Also worthy of mention are the Patron Saint Festivities in September, with the "Day of the Guadalupes", on the 6th, with the procession and floral offering to the Virgin of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of Extremadura and Queen of Hispanidad.

Patron saint festivities. From 6 to 9 September:

Festive Programme

Tuesday, 6th September "Day of the Guadalupes".

  • 22:00 h. Performance by the folklore group "Los Jateros". Place: Plaza de Sta. Mª de Guadalupe.

Wednesday, 7th September. Celebration of the Day of Extremadura.

  • 22:30 h. Musical performance by "Acetre". Place: Plaza de Sta. Mª de Guadalupe.
  • 24:00 h. Fireworks. Place: Plaza de Sta. M.ª de Guadalupe
  • 01:00 h.(early morning from Wednesday to Thursday 8 September) Mobile Disco: DJ Peke. Venue: Car parks.

Thursday, 8th September

  • 22:00 h. Traditional concert by the Guadalupe Music Band. Directed by Cesáreo Plaza Álvarez. Venue: to be determined. To be specified on subsequent posters.

Friday, 9th September

  • 11:00 h.: Children's party. Slide and Inflatable Sports, Animation, Children's Train.

Saturday, 10th September

Closing of the Jubilee Year of Guadalupe 2022.

  • 22:30 h. Concert by Jorge González. Place: Plaza de Sta. M.ª de Guadalupe.
