Once a year, visitors can taste the local gastronomy, from homemade sausages to the most traditional confectionery, accompanied by local wines. These days bring together tradition, gastronomy and culture of the town of Frailes in Jaén.

The next 5th and 6th of May 2023 will take place in the municipality the XXV JORNADA VINÍCOLA Y GASTRONÓMICA VILLA DE FRAILES, a celebration in which local products can be tasted.

With the novelty in this edition of the exhibition "WINE AND FRAILESTUD" in which you can see the history of Frailes in the last 40 years seen through the camera of Santiago Campos.

Friday, 5th May

  • 19:30 h. Conference "THE DEMOCRATIC DISENGAGEMENT AND THE WINE FESTIVAL" by Santiago Campos García and presented by Manuel Molina.
  • Exhibition "WINE AND FRAILESTUD", The history of Frailes in the last 40 years seen through the camera of Santiago Campos. Venue: Frailes Spa.
  • 21:00 h. TASTING OF FRESHLY MADE BLACK PUDDING, WINE TASTING AND LOCAL PRODUCTS. Place: C/Santo Rostro, "Plaza de los Toros".

Saturday, 6th May

  • 12:00 h. WELCOME by the Mayoress Encarnación Bienvenida Castro Cano and the Councillor for Festivities Miguel Ángel Garrido Romero to the XXV Jornada Vinícola y Gastronómica. Place: Casa de la Cultura "Michael Jacobs".
  • 12:30 h. PREGÓN BY ANTONIO AGUDO MARTÍN, Editor-in-Chief of COPE Jaén. chief at COPE Jaén. Place: Casa de la Cultura "Michael Jacobs".
  • 13:00 h.- MUNICIPAL KITCHEN WITH BAR SERVICE AND FREE ACCESS FREE ACCESS TO THE STANDS OF HANDICRAFT PRODUCTS. Place: Recinto Ferial.
  • 14:15 h. TASTING OF THE TYPICAL "OLLA PODRIDA" AND OTHER FOOD. With the collaboration of our chef par excellence in the Villa de Frailes, Miguel Montes....
  • 17:00 h. GREAT PERFORMANCE MEMORY BAND, LET'S ENJOY THE 80s AND 90s. Place: Recinto Ferial.
  • Inflatable games for children: Friday in C/ Huertas from 20:30h. and Saturday in the Fairgrounds from 16:00h.

All persons with a ticket for access to the central marquee are kindly requested to remain calm before the opening of the enclosure at 14:00 h.
