Year 2023

It celebrates: From 12th April to 14th April
Place: Montiel (Ciudad Real)

Historical days related to the death of Pedro I of Castile, recreating the arrival of the king in Montiel, taking refuge in the Castle of the Star. We will see how life was in the 14th century and witness the famous Battle of Montiel.

Festival of Regional Tourist Interest in 2013. This year 2023 will celebrate the 47th edition.

Each year a play is staged, different every year with actors and actresses from the village. Play written by D. Emilio Pacheco Sánchez, official chronicler of the Villa de Montiel.

The proclamation of this edition will be in charge of Esperanza Santos, presenter of TV Castilla La Mancha.
