Program of Festivities in honour of San Antonio in Martín de Yeltes

Martín de Yeltes dresses up to celebrate the festival in honour of San Antonio. Religious and bullfighting events are the focus of the festivities to which everyone is invited.

Programme of Activities

Friday 10th June

• 17:00 h Delivery of gifts by the Town Hall to the neighbours.
• 23:30 h Chupinazo "Start of Fiestas".

...followed by a large open-air dance in the public square of the village with the SMS Orchestra.

Saturday 11th June

• 11:00 to 14:00 h Inflatables for children and not so children ..... In the square.
• 13:00 h Suelta de vaquillas* enlivened by Charanga la Escala
• 18:00 h Concentration of oxen along Cañada Real Street to the Plaza Mayor
• 19:00 h "Capea" through the streets of the bulls* enlivened by Charanga la Escala
• 00:00 h Espectáculos Benítez presents Discoteca Vivaldi in "Fiesta noche de verano".

Sunday 12th June

• 02:00 h Night-time release of heifers *.
• 03:00 h Verbena with soloist, Go-Gos (girls and boys) and Mobile Disco until dawn.
• 13:00 h Traditional running of the bulls on horseback with young bulls from Manuel Gimeno's stud farm, enlivened by the
  by the Charanga la Escala
• 19:00 h "Capea" through the streets with heifers* and steers, enlivened by the Charanga la Escala.
• 23:30 h Big open-air dance in the public square of the village, accompanied by the Aquarela Orchestra.

Monday 13th June

• 10:30 h Diana floreada through the main streets, by the Dulzainero de Cantaracillo.
• 12:00 h Solemn Mass, enlivened by the Parish Choir. At the end of the Mass, all the people are invited to a feast offered by Doña
  to a feast offered by Doña María Asunción Crespo Andrés.
• 16:30 h Activities for the elderly
• 19:00 h Practical class of the students of the bullfighting school of the Diputación de Salamanca: Fabian Castellani and Cristiano Torres with young bulls from the Manuel Gimeno bull-ranch and then "capea de vaquillas "* in the square enlivened by the Charanga la Escala.
• 23:30 h Big open-air dance in the public square of the village with the Compass Orchestra.

Tuesday 14th June

• 13:00 h Suelta de vaquillas* enlivened by the Charanga la Escala.
• 19:00 h "Capea" in the streets with the "vaquillas*" (young bulls) accompanied by the Charanga la Escala.

Wednesday 15th June

• 15:00 h Great paellada in the multi-purpose hall.
• Followed by a performance by the Mariquelo with the pupils of the bagpipes and tambourine of the
  the identities (Group Charros de Martín de Yeltes)
• and the end of the fiesta...!!!!
