Cultural week held the week before the town's main festivities. Each year the theme of the cultural week is different, with activities taking place every day of the week.

Festive Programme

Saturday, 6th August

  • 19:30 h Photography exhibition "Through the eyes of the shepherd" and Talk "Importance of shepherds
    of shepherding" with the photographer, high mountain shepherd and protagonist of the TV
    transhumance TV programme "Entre Ovejas" Zacarías Fievet.
    Place: College

Sunday, 7th August

  • 10-20h 20th Craft Fair
  • 19:30h Performance by the Titiriteros de Binéfar (Binéfar Puppeteers)
    Place: School playground

Monday, 8th August

  • 10:00 h Talk about home composting through the Ribagorza Sustainable Homes Network. Register in advance at: hogares.sostenibles.ribagorza@gmail.com
    Each registered participant will be given a home or garden compost bin.
    Place: Town Hall
  • 19:30 h Talk and demonstration of "Techniques for the use of mushrooms" by the Asociación Micológica Campo. You will learn how to prepare and preserve the most popular mushrooms that we collect in Campo.

  • 20:00 h Stand up paddle with Agualate
    Interested parties sign up in time at the swimming pools.

Tuesday, 9th August

  • 10:00 h Gynkana "10 years of struggle against the reservoir" with Feliciano González pa to to la chen.
  • 19:00 h Some take the fame and others card the wool. Workshop to teach the craft of
    craft of transforming sheep's wool into yarn.
    Venue: Town Hall
    Minimum age: 7 years old
  • 20:00 h Kayak polo tournament with Agualate
    Interested parties should sign up before the deadline at the Swimming Pools.

Wednesday, 10th August

  • 8:00 h Cultural excursion Barrabés Valley and Castanesa Valley Alto de Bonansa: Hiking to Borda d'Ansuils
    Montanuy: Viewpoint and Sculpture tribute to Pau Donés
    Castanesa: Viewpoint, lunch at Ca de Graus, Ethnographic Museum and visit of the village. The journey will be made in private cars.
    Tickets must be purchased at the Town Hall before the deadline.

  • 10-14 h Open Day of Traditional Country Games
    Place: Museum of Traditional Games
  • 12:00 h Encouragement to reading: Legend of oral tradition in Ribagorzano and Castilian.

  • 18:30 h Interpretative excursion Naspún with Agualate
    Departure place: Pza. Cabovila

Friday, 12th August

  • 9:30 am Soap-making workshop (with used oil) with the Ball Axén Association.
    We will put into practice the technique of our grandmothers to reuse oil and obtain a homemade soap

  • 11:00 h Calandras, tabas and cardboard game. We will remember how the weather was

    We will learn about the ancestral customs and rituals of Campo.
