Program of Virgin of Carmen in Calp

Year 2023

It celebrates: From 14th July to 16th July

Place: Calp (Alicante)

Procession on foot with costaleros carrying the image from Cantal Roig beach. Floral offering and tribute to the deceased sailors with wreaths thrown into the sea from rowing boats. The seafaring family will gather for the traditional 'Concurso de Calderos' with games and fun.

This year there are new platforms, which will enhance the image of the Virgen del Carmen even more.

Also during these days the seafaring family gets together on Saturday for the traditional "Concurso de Calderos" where there are also water mats, traditional games and around 19h xaranga, to end a day of coexistence.
