Tuesday, 6th September

Special children's day, attractions at 2 euros.

• 19:00 to 21:00 h. Special children's day, children's attractions at 2 euros. Both the music and the characteristic sound of the rides will be eliminated so that children with special needs can enjoy the fair without acoustic barriers.
• 17:30 h. Registration for children to take part in the GIANTS AND BULLFIGHTS PARADE at the Town Hall.
• 18:30 h. PROCESSION OF GIANTS AND HEADSHAWTS starting from the Town Hall.

• 21:00 h. Flamenco performance by the Peña Flamenca El Pitero in the Plaza de la Constitución.
• 22:00 h. INAUGURATION OF THE FAIR GROUND AND LIGHTING OF THE LIGHTING by the local authorities.
• 22:30 h. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR QUEEN, KING, LADIES AND ESCORTS.
  Performance by dance groups from the Universidad Popular de Remedios Fernández.
  Coronation of Queen, Ladies, Miss Congeniality, King and Companions of the Fair.
  Grand closing of the night with Katrina.

Wednesday, 7th September

• 14:00 h. OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE DAY FAIR by the local authorities at La Muralla de Mijas Pueblo. Entertainment for the Day Fair: A Compás
• 17:00 h. Performance: Antoñito Molina
• 20:00 h. CLOSING OF THE DAY FAIR
• 21:00 h. TRIBUTE DINNER FOR THE ELDERLY. The dinner will be offered to all senior citizens who have previously registered with the Municipal Department for the Elderly and have collected their invitation.

Thursday, 8th September

• 11:30 h. SOLEMN RELIGIOUS SERVICE IN HONOUR OF THE VIRGEN DE LA PEÑA.
• 14:00 h. OPENING OF THE DAY FAIR at La Muralla de Mijas Pueblo.
  The fair will be entertained by: Alboreá
• 18:00 h. CLOSING OF THE DAYTIME FAIR
• 18:30 h. PARADE OF MUSIC BANDS participating in the procession from the door of the Town Hall to the Parish Church of the Immaculate Conception along the following route: Town Hall, Avda. de Méjico, Calle Málaga, Plaza de la Constitución, Cuesta de la Villa and Parish Church.
  Participants: Agrupación Musical de Las Lagunas, Banda de Música de Mijas, Banda de Música Ntra. Sra. De La Paz de Málaga.
• 21:30 h. SOLEMN PROCESSION OF THE SACRED IMAGE OF THE STMA. VIRGEN DE LA PEÑA.
  On arrival at Avda. del Compás, a salve will be sung to the Virgen de la Peña, offered by the Town Hall of Mijas to its patron saint. The procession will follow the following route: Muralla, Cuesta de la Villa, Plaza de la Constitución, Avda. del Compás, Calle Caños, Plaza de la Libertad, Calle Carril, Barrio Santana, Plaza de los Siete Caños, Calle Coín, Calle Muro, Plaza de la Constitución and Avda. de El Compás to her Hermitage.

Friday, 9th September

• 14:00 h. OPENING OF THE DAY FAIR in the Jardines de La Muralla. The Day Fair will be entertained by Rompeolas.
• 17:00 h. Performance: El Callejón
• 17:00 h. FUN LUDOTECA (children's activities for children aged three and over).
  CHOICE OF QUEEN, KING AND CHILDREN'S COMPANIONS of the Mijas Fair 2022 in La Muralla.
• 20:00 h. CLOSING OF THE DAYTIME FAIR
