Cultural week held the week before the town's main festivities. Each year the theme of the cultural week is different, with activities taking place every day of the week.

Country Cultural Week 2023

THURSDAY, AUGUST 3

  • *10:30 a.m. Visit to the Seira Power Plant, also known as the Cathedral of Hydroelectric Power Plants. Register before July 31. Departure place with private vehicles: Pza. Cabovila.
  • *7pm Kayak and paddle surf workshop with Agualate. Practical explanation of the necessary material for its development. Place: Municipal swimming pools.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 4

  • *10:30 am Children's workshop on creative painting with the pastel technique, taught by Joaquín Vidaller. Duration: 2 hours. Includes stuff. €5/person. Location: Bajos de la Cova.
  • 11 am Informative talk to start composting in the Ribagorza region. Venue: Local Social
  • *19h Talk about the fungi present in our day to day. At the end there will be a practical workshop on fungi. Place: MicoCampo Association Headquarters (former location of the Tourist Office).

SATURDAY, AUGUST 5

  • 7:00 p.m. Presentation of the book “87 versed nights” by Elena Civit Poza. Place: Social premises.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 6

  • 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. XXI Craft Fair. Location: Town streets.
  • 10-14h Tasting of Fair Trade products with the PROCLADE Foundation. Place: Placeta de la Pedra.
  • 11:30 am Children's activity "Leave your mark for Fair Trade" with PROCLADE.
  • 7:30 p.m. Puppeteers from Binéfar, JAUJA show. Place: Pza. Cabovila.

MONDAY, AUGUST 7

  • 9h Route "Rocks, water and cheological history in Campo" with the cheologist Pau Arbués and the paleoclimatic expert Sietske Bantenburg. We will have a walk through the redolada Campo discovering the formation processes of our mountains. Departure point: Plaza Cabovila.
  • 12 noon Children's educational workshop on the exhibition Living in the heights. Place: CEIP Cerbín School.
  • *6:30 p.m. Floral workshop on acrylic painting on canvas for adults, taught by Isabel Poza. Duration: 2 hours. Includes stuff. €5/person. Place: Social premises.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 8

  • *7h Cultural excursion through the Grado with guided tours to see: Trenches: built by the Republican side during the Civil War, they formed part of the Cinca Line. Nursery fish farm in the Pyrenees: in addition to fattening the rainbow trout fingerlings, the baerii sturgeon is reared exclusively from which its prized caviar will be extracted after 7 or 8 years.
  • Chuaquín flour mill: traditional use of grinding with the driving force of water and production of electrical energy. It also houses the tourist office, a collection of puppets from the Puppeteers of Binéfar and a parcheesi space. Lunch at Las Acacias Restaurant.
  • El Grado dam: hydraulic work for the management of the El Grado reservoir in which we will discover the museum and the interior of the dam through its galleries. The displacement will be carried out in private cars. It is essential to purchase a ticket on time Place of departure: Pza. Cabovila. 7:30 p.m. Presentation of the book "Waiting for the line car" by Mª Pilar Faro. Place: Social premises.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9

  • 11 am Animation to read to make children aware of the importance of water. Place: Placeta de la Pedra.
  • *19:00 Botanical watercolor workshop for adults, taught by Lydia Solans. Duration: 2 hours. Includes stuff. €5/person. Place: Social premises.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 10

  • 12 noon Ribagorzana language workshop given by Alberto Lamora, resident of Murillo de Liena and mayestro d'aragonés in Barcelona. The words will be triaged for the Camino de la llengua. Place: Social premises.
  • 7:00 p.m. Presentation of the book Historias, cuentos y leyendas del Pirineo" by José Antonio Adell and Celedonio García. Place: Social venue.
  • 10:30 p.m. Video of the I Mariano Alos Memorial and talk about kayaking organized by the Guías Ésera association. Location: Main Square.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 11

  • 8h Excursion to San Bllascut el Viejo: first known settlement in the Ball d'Axen, directed by Cosme Castán. Departure point: Plaza Cabovila.
  • 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Inflatables in the Campo pools.
  • 6:00 p.m. VIIth Edition Soccer Tournament organized by the Campo 29 September Association. Registration at Bar Tosquizo until August 8 at 8:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m. Show “Gotas de Magia” with Almozandia Teatro. Place: Social premises.
