Wednesday 29th

  • 11 a.m. Parade with the xeremiers group of the Esporles Music and Dance School and the Xeremiers of Esporles.
  • 12 noon Mass in honour of St. Peter the Apostle, patron saint of Esporles, presided over by Mn. Francesc Vicenç, Episcopal Vicar for Historical and Cultural Heritage and Rectorof the Major Seminary. After mass, the Filadora dance will take place.
  • 1 p.m. Refreshment accompanied by the Lira Esporlerina Band. Place: Town Hall Square.
  • 6 p.m. Opening of the exhibition 20 years of the Bocsifocs and popular culture in Esporles.
  • 6 p.m. Opening of the exhibition with photographs, costumes and other objects from the correfocs.
  • 7 p.m. Round table with members and former participants of the group. Venue: Cotton Centre. Organised by: Aleación de Demonios Bocsifocs.
  • 16-20 h 2x2 Volleyball Tournament. For all ages. Venue: Sports Centre of CEIP Gabriel Comas i Ribas. Organised by: Esporles Volley Club.
  • 18 h Children's entertainment with Cucorba. Place: Placeta del Jardinet.
  • 19-21 h Verbena Kids with Joan Rigo DJ A party designed for children. Place: Placeta del Jardinet. Organised by: AFA Esporles.
  • 18-21 h Basketball in the street. Fun exhibitions and competitions. Place: Coliseum Street. Organised by: Esporles BC.
  • 22 h Esporles, the musical. Based on the legends of Esporles. Venue: School courtyard. Organised by: Esporles Choir. Tickets: Advance €5 at Artimanya and Sa Fusteria until the 27th. At the box office 7€.

Thursday 30th

  • 12 noon Battle of Quintos. 2005 Quintos come to pass the battle trials! Place: Paseo. Organised by: Casal Municipal de Jóvenes.
  • 18 h Inauguration of the music room. With Jam Session and sting. Place: Casal Municipal de Jóvenes. Organised by: Municipal Youth Centre and the Esporles School of Music and Dance.
  • 6 p.m. Cycling tour and ascent to Mirant de Mar. While the grown-ups go up to Mirant de Mar, the children will play games with their bikes. Neighbours are invited to refresh the cyclists with water to combat the heat. Place: Placeta del Jardinet. Organised by: Ermassets Club de Montaña de Esporles.
  • 16-20 h 2x2 Volleyball Tournament. For all ages. Venue: Sports centre of CEIP Gabriel Comas i Ribas. Organised by: Esporles Volley Club.
  • 10.30 p.m. End of festivities with a fire show by the Colla de Dimonis Bocsifocs de Esporles. Starting point: Placeta del Jardinet. Route: Town Hall Square and Rectoria, Sa Tanca, Joanot Colom, Nou de Sant Pere, Joan Riutort and Placeta del Jardinet streets. Organised by: Aleación de Demonios. Bocsifocs. In collaboration with: Mals Papers. Invited alloys: Demons Escarrufaverros de Campanet and Demons Hiachat de Santa Margalida.
  • 00 h Final fireworks.

Safety measures for participating in the correfoc:

For participants

  1. Wear cotton clothes, preferably old, with sleeves and long trousers.
  2. Wear a hat that covers your whole head and cover the back of your neck with a cotton handkerchief.
  3. Protect your eyes.
  4. Wear suitable footwear (sports shoes, hiking shoes, etc.).
  5. Cover your ears to reduce the noise of pyrotechnic explosions.
  6. Do not ask for water from neighbours.
  7. Obey the instructions of the public order and health services.
  8. It is forbidden to carry private pyrotechnic products.
  9. Respect the fire figures, their bearers and the musicians.
  10. Adopt a correct attitude with the devils, do not block their way and be alert to make them fall. 11 Follow the instructions of the demons at all times.
  11. Find out before the start of the correfoc about the route of the correfoc and the medical assistance points.
  12. In the event of burns, go immediately to the medical assistance points.
  13. In case of danger, follow the instructions of the demons or the public order services.
